24-Hour Emergency Room

The Howard Hospital Emergency Department offers 24-hour emergency care, seven days a week, 365 days a year for patients of all ages. The department is a small, 5-bed department staffed around the clock with highly skilled physicians and nurses. We see and treat approximately 1,000 patients a month (an average of about 33 per 24-hour day). This team of individuals is specifically trained and qualified to render emergency medical care. The physicians and nurses on staff pride themselves in their teamwork and excellent patient care.
