Willits - Kevin Erich, president of Howard Memorial
Hospital, announced today that Home Care and Hospice
Services-Mendocino County was named to the 2007 HomeCare Elite. This
year the entity was named among the top 100 home care agencies in
the United States.
Its an honor to be named yet again to this elite status,
stated Erich. Its worth noting that out of 7800 home care agencies
in the United States our agency ranked in the top 100. We have a
dedicated team working to provide the very best care.
Outcome Concepts Systems, Inc. (OCS) determined the top home
health agencies nation-wide through benchmarking based on quality
measurement scores. OCS maintains the nations largest proprietary
home care, hospice and private duty benchmark database.
We are honored to receive this award, commented Nancy Runyan,
administrative director for the department. This award reflects the
quality care that is given by our outstanding team of professionals.
We are committed to the Mendocino county family to continue
providing them with the highest standard of care. Its a privilege
to know we are in the top 1% of home care agencies in the nation.
I am proud to be part of this wonderful agency. Its gratifying
to me that our county is being served with high quality home care,
stated Audrey Carver, clinical manager for the department.
This award belongs to our nurses and health care professionals
who bring all their wonderful talents to our patients, said Dr.
Bruce Andich, medical director of the department.
